Hang Glider Pilot
Fearless hang glider pilot who patrols Endor's canopy and rains havoc on enemies below.
Warok is one of the most daring Ewoks in Bright Tree Village, famous for his mastery of the primitive hang gliders that the Ewoks use to traverse the vast canopy of Endor's forests. Where most Ewoks travel by vine, rope bridge, or footpath, Warok takes to the sky — soaring between the towering trees with a confidence that borders on the supernatural.
The Ewok hang gliders are remarkable feats of engineering, constructed from lightweight wood frames and stretched animal hides. Piloting one requires exceptional coordination, spatial awareness, and courage, as the dense forest canopy leaves little room for error. Warok possesses all three qualities in abundance. He can read air currents by watching the movement of leaves far below, adjust his flight path with subtle shifts of body weight, and land on platforms barely wider than his wingspan.
His aerial skills are not merely recreational. Warok serves as one of the village's primary long-range scouts, using his glider to survey territories that would take ground scouts days to cover on foot. He monitors the movements of predators, tracks weather patterns, and maps new sections of the forest from his unique vantage point above the canopy.
During the ground assault against the Imperial shield generator, Warok's hang glider skills proved devastatingly effective. He participated in aerial attacks against Imperial positions, dropping rocks and other projectiles on stormtroopers who had no effective way to counter threats from above. The sight of Ewok gliders swooping through the trees added yet another dimension to an already chaotic battlefield, further disorienting the Imperial forces.
Warok's fearlessness extends beyond flying. He is an adventurous soul who actively seeks out the unknown corners of Endor, driven by a genuine desire to explore and understand his world. He has ventured farther from Bright Tree Village than almost any other Ewok, returning with stories of distant landscapes and strange creatures.
Warok embodies the Ewok spirit of innovation — taking natural materials and transforming them into tools that expand the boundaries of what is possible.
